Check WF, not WH
Confirm WF-1000XM3 on your order. The WH-1000XM3 over-ear headphones are a different product with different skins.
Prepare the surfaces
Disconnect charging and follow Sony's cleaning advice. Keep moisture away from contacts, ports and sound openings, and allow surfaces to dry.
Identify small pieces
Work with clean hands and good lighting. Leave unused sections on their backing and use the video for placement.
Fitting your WF-1000XM3 skins

Check the intended surface
Compare the piece with its perimeter and cut-outs before pressing. Do not stretch a narrow piece around an opening.

Apply gradually
Follow the backing-removal method shown and smooth progressively, avoiding unnecessary adhesive contact.

Finish shaped sections
Follow the supplied fitting method for curves. Do not use a heat gun or overheat the earbuds or case.

Check charging and movement
Keep contacts, ports, microphones, sound outlets and sensors clear. The case lid and earbuds should move and seat without force.
Installation questions
Can I place a case piece on an earbud?
No. Use each piece only on the exterior surface intended for it. Check the supplied coverage and video before fitting.
What if a piece catches on the case lid?
Stop and check position rather than forcing it closed. Send us a photo before pulling or trimming the skin.
