Change of mind

For most standard, non-personalised skins bought online, you normally have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving a reason. Tell us you wish to cancel within that period, then return the goods within a further 14 days.

On a qualifying cancellation, we refund the item price and the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option we offered for that order. We may wait until we receive the returned goods, or evidence that you have sent them, before issuing the refund. We issue it within 14 days of the applicable date, using the original payment method unless agreed otherwise.

If you are cancelling because you have changed your mind, you normally pay the direct return-postage cost where this was disclosed before purchase. You can inspect goods as you would in a shop, but deductions for diminished value may apply if you handle them beyond what is necessary to inspect them.

Our 45-day goodwill returns policy

We also currently offer a 45-day return period measured from purchase for eligible unused standard skins in their original condition and packaging, subject to our stated goodwill-policy conditions. Please email us with your order number before sending anything back.

This voluntary 45-day policy is additional to, and does not shorten, your statutory cancellation rights or your rights if goods are faulty, incorrectly supplied, or not as described. Under the goodwill policy, you ordinarily pay return postage for non-faulty goods.

Personalised and made-to-specification skins

Some goods genuinely made to an individual customer's specifications, or clearly personalised, can be exempt from the usual 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right. We will explain any applicable exception clearly before purchase.

Simply being manufactured after ordering, or selecting a standard model and finish, does not automatically make every product legally exempt. If you are unsure whether an exception applies to your order, please contact us. Customisation never removes your rights if the product is faulty or not as described.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

We want every skin to fit and look right. If your item is faulty, arrived damaged, is not as described, or we've sent the wrong model or finish, please email us with your order number and photos where helpful. We'll assess the issue and arrange an appropriate remedy under your statutory rights, including a refund, repair or replacement where applicable.

UK consumer law gives a short-term right to reject qualifying faulty goods within 30 days, with further remedies afterwards. When we are responsible for a fault or incorrect supply, reasonable return costs are our responsibility. We may not need you to return a wrongly supplied skin.

Missing or delayed deliveries

If your order appears to be missing, let us know with your order number. Our team will check the dispatch information and help put things right, including replacement or refund where required. Sending an item does not by itself mean it has been delivered to you.

UK delivery usually takes 2–5 working days after dispatch, sometimes up to a week; international shipments commonly take 7–14 days but can take longer. See the Shipping & Delivery page for estimates and service details.

How to start a return

Email info@xtremeskins.co.uk with your order number, the product and a brief description of the problem or reason for return. We may request photographs for fitting or damage concerns. Please don't send products back without checking the return instructions.

Our currently listed return address is XtremeSkins, 162 Dock Street, Fleetwood, Lancashire, FY7 6JB, United Kingdom. Please contact us before sending a return so we can provide the appropriate instructions.

Refund processing and complaints

Approved refunds normally go back to the original payment method. Your bank or card provider may take additional time to show the credit. The statutory cancellation refund timetable applies where relevant; our voluntary return process does not override it.

For help, contact info@xtremeskins.co.uk. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
