The vinyl helps protect the original exterior against everyday scratches, scuffs, fingerprints and cosmetic wear. It does not provide impact or drop protection.
Will a Steam Deck OLED skin affect cooling?
The skin is designed around the important vents and openings so normal airflow is not blocked when correctly installed.
