“Dell XPS 13” gets you to the right family. The rest of the name gets you to the right skin. Here is how to check before ordering.

Four ways to check your XPS
1. Use Windows System Information
Search Start for System Information. Open it, select System Summary and copy the System Model value. Keep the full result rather than just “XPS”.
2. Use Dell SupportAssist
Open SupportAssist if installed. Check the model information; in Dell’s documented layout, selecting the Service Tag at the top right reveals further device details.
3. Check the label or original box
Look for the model or Service Tag on the laptop’s external label or original packaging. Enter the Service Tag on Dell Support to identify the computer.
4. Check BIOS when Windows will not load
At the Dell startup logo, tap F2. Read the model in the overview/system information area, then exit without changing settings.

For a second-hand machine, make sure the box or invoice actually belongs to that laptop. A reseller description such as “Dell XPS i7” is not enough for a precision-cut order. Send us the confirmed model, not your Windows login or account details.
The details that prevent the wrong order
Use this checklist: XPS family + model number + chassis type + generation. For example, keep “XPS 13 2-in-1 7390” together instead of shortening it to “7390”.
Standard XPS and 2-in-1 listings are separate
We have separate standard and 2-in-1 skin listings for the 7390 and 9310. Do not discard “2-in-1” from your model name. Likewise, keep Plus when checking the XPS 13 Plus 9320 listing.
Screen size, colour and a familiar Dell logo are useful context, not a compatibility test. Matching one panel in a photograph does not confirm the fit of the bottom, trackpad or other selected pieces.

What if my model is not listed?
Check the Dell skin selector for additions. If there is no exact match, email info@xtremeskins.co.uk with the full model and clear exterior photos before ordering. Do not pick the nearest number and hope for the best.
Hide the Service Tag, serial number and personal details in photos unless specifically needed in a private support conversation. Tell us about replacement shells or other exterior modifications.
Choose the sections after the model
Review which parts are included in your selected configuration. A product image may show several pieces, while a Custom option may select only one. Read our customiser walkthrough for help with the options.
Before fitting, use the installation guide selector. A similar model’s video can help explain the technique; it does not make that model’s skin compatible with yours.
Dell XPS model questions
Are all XPS 13 skins interchangeable?
No. Order from the listing that explicitly names your model and generation. Shared screen-size wording does not confirm all the selected skin pieces will fit.
My laptop says 9350. Which listing should I choose?
Confirm whether it is the older Late 2015 XPS 13 9350 or the 2024 version. We list them separately. Ask us before buying if your product information leaves that unclear.
Can I use a standard 7390 or 9310 skin on the 2-in-1?
Use the dedicated 2-in-1 listing. Our standard 7390 and 9310 listings explicitly exclude the corresponding 2-in-1 models.
Does an i5 or i7 sticker identify my XPS?
Not sufficiently for a skin order. Record the complete XPS model and chassis type, then check the generation where the name is ambiguous.
