Series X or Series S?
Check more than the colour.
The complete console name and disc-drive version matter when selecting a skin. “White Xbox” and “digital Xbox” are not specific enough.
1. Read the console information, not the controller's label
Power down and disconnect the console before repositioning it to read the outside label. Do not open the shell or remove a skin just to look for an internal number. Photograph readable model markings and compare them with the original order.
A label can contain a hardware code rather than the full shop name. Do not turn an unfamiliar number into a guess; keep it alongside the purchase information and check with Microsoft if needed.
Microsoft's device-management guidance explains registering and viewing devices through your Microsoft account. Use official support for serial-number checks; you do not need to post the serial publicly to choose a skin.
2. Use the physical design as a cross-check
Xbox Series X with a disc drive
Compare the tall, square-sided console and its disc slot with the illustrated models on Microsoft's Series X page. Keep the full edition name, especially for special editions.
Once confirmed, review our Xbox Series X skin listing. A product photograph showing one finish does not confirm fit for every later hardware revision.
Xbox Series X Digital Edition
The Series X range also includes an all-digital model without an optical drive. Microsoft lists the Robot White 1 TB version separately from disc-drive models. It is still Series X, not Series S.
Use the dedicated Series X Digital skin listing when that is the console you own. Do not select the disc version just because the main body looks similar.
Xbox Series S
Series S is the smaller, rectangular all-digital console. Compare its shape and prominent circular ventilation area with Microsoft's Series S illustrations, then confirm the name from the label or order.
Choose the Series S skin product. Colour and storage capacity are supporting details, not replacements for the family name.
3. Keep “Xbox One” separate from “Xbox Series”
Xbox One X and Xbox One S are not alternative spellings of Series X and Series S. Retain every part of the product name when choosing a listing.
Likewise, an all-digital description only tells you there is no disc drive; it does not uniquely identify a console. Several Xbox models can be described that way.
Use the Xbox skin selector for the supported range. Ask us if the exact edition is missing rather than ordering whichever letter matches.
Check controllers and modified shells separately
The controller packaged with a console is not a guarantee of the controller currently beside it. Identify the controller itself before choosing its skin.
Tell us if your console has a replacement or modified shell. Original model information identifies the hardware, but an aftermarket exterior can change the fitting surface.
Model confirmed: now review the coverage
Read the selected product's panel options before choosing colours. Our skins are adhesive vinyl for the specified surfaces, not replacement plastic panels or a complete console.

Xbox identification questions
Does “digital” mean Series S?
No. An all-digital Series X exists too. Match the complete console name and its exterior, not just the absence of a disc slot.
Can I choose a skin from the controller colour?
No. Controllers can be replaced or used with different consoles. Check the console and controller independently.
What should I send if I am still unsure?
A clear front and rear photograph, the product name on your original order and readable model markings. Hide serial numbers, account details and other personal information.
