Before you start

Confirm Bose 700

Check the model on your order. Identify each supplied piece, including its intended left or right position.

Clean and dry

Power off and unplug the headphones. Follow Bose's cleaning advice and keep moisture away from openings and cushions.

Prepare your workspace

Use clean, dry hands and good lighting. Leave unused sections on the backing and review the full fitting sequence first.

Fitting your Bose 700 skin

Use the video and supplied instructions for precise placement.

  1. Check the perimeter

Compare edges and functional cut-outs before pressing. Do not stretch a piece around an opening to correct alignment.

  2. Apply progressively

Follow the backing-removal method shown and smooth gently, avoiding repeated contact with the adhesive.

  3. Take care on curves

Use gentle hairdryer warmth only where instructed. Do not use a heat gun or make the headphones hot.

  4. Check movement and controls

Keep microphones, ports, controls and acoustic openings clear. Adjustment and moving parts must remain unobstructed.
