Can't see your model listed? A similar laptop with the same skin type can show the basic method. Panel shapes and openings may differ: always use a skin made for your exact XPS model. Do not wet-fit laptops.

Before you start

Confirm 9370

Check the model number on your order, not just XPS 13. Identify lid, bottom and any additional panels supplied.

Clean and dry

Shut down and unplug your laptop. Follow Dell's cleaning advice and allow fitting surfaces to dry, keeping moisture out of openings.

Prepare your space

Use a stable surface, clean hands and good lighting. Leave unused panels on their backing.

Fitting your XPS 13 9370 skin

  1. Compare the edges

Check the full perimeter and cut-outs before firm pressure. A logo opening should not be the only alignment reference.

  2. Smooth progressively

Follow the backing-removal method shown. Work gradually across the panel without stretching the vinyl.

  3. Check extra panels

Match every supplied piece to its intended surface. Leave feet, vents, hinges, ports and keyboard openings clear.

  4. Inspect the finish

Check edges and moving clearances before normal use. Do not trim a panel while it is attached to your laptop.

Installation questions

Will any XPS 13 skin fit?

No. Check the exact model numbers listed for the skin you ordered. Similar fitting techniques do not establish compatibility.
