Can't see your model listed? Use a similar model with the same skin type for the basic fitting method. Cut-outs and alignment points may differ: always use a skin made for your exact device. Clear skins need the separate wet-fitting guide.

A little preparation goes a long way

Before you start

Match your Pixel

Check Pixel 2 on your order. Do not choose a skin by screen size alone; identify each piece before peeling.

Clean the fitting area

Switch off and unplug the phone. Follow the manufacturer's surface-care instructions and let it dry fully.

Make room to work

Use clean hands and a well-lit surface. Keep your instructions handy and unused pieces on the backing.

Fitting your Pixel 2 skin

Use the video for the exact placement and order of your selected coverage.

  1. Check the cut-outs

Compare the camera and any other functional openings with the piece before pressing firmly. Check the perimeter too.

  2. Smooth progressively

Follow the backing-removal method shown. Avoid touching the adhesive or repeatedly pulling the same area.

  3. Finish without stretching

Use gentle hairdryer warmth only where instructed. Do not stretch a piece to make a cut-out reach.

  4. Inspect before use

Keep sensors, cameras, controls and ports unobstructed. Check that any case does not catch an edge.

Installation questions

Can I use a guide for another Pixel?

A similar model can demonstrate the basic technique, but your skin must match the exact device. Use this Pixel 2 video for its intended piece placement.

What if a cut-out is off-centre?

Stop and check the model, orientation and all reference points. Do not cut the skin on the phone or pull it into position.

What about lifting or bubbles?

Do not use a pin or excessive force. See our fitting troubleshooting guide.
