Can't see your model listed? A similar handheld with the same skin type can show the basic fitting method. Panel shapes and alignment points may differ, so always use a skin made for your exact device.
Before you start
Confirm Switch Lite
Check the model and coverage on your order. Keep unused pieces on the backing.
Clean and dry
Power off and unplug the console. Follow Nintendo's surface-care instructions and let the fitting area dry fully. Do not wet-fit this console.
Watch before peeling
Use clean, dry hands and a well-lit workspace. Keep your supplied fitting instructions beside you.
Fitting your Switch Lite skin
Use the video and supplied instructions for exact placement and application order.
-
Check the front alignment
Compare the screen border, button openings and outer edges together before pressing firmly. Do not stretch a narrow section to make it reach.
-
Work around the controls
Follow the backing-removal method shown and smooth gradually. Keep vinyl clear of sticks, buttons and their movement.
-
Fit each supplied panel
Check the intended surface for every piece. Do not bridge separate openings or cover vents, speakers, slots or ports.
-
Inspect the edges
Use gentle hairdryer warmth only where your fitting instructions call for it; never make the console hot. Check that accessories do not catch the skin.
Installation questions
Can I use a regular Switch skin?
Use a skin made for the exact console on your order. A similar installation method does not make the pieces interchangeable.
What if a button opening will not align?
Stop and check the piece, model and orientation. Do not cut the skin on the console or pull it into place; send us a photo.
What about bubbles or lifting?
Do not use a pin or extra force. Read our bubbles, wrinkles and lifting guide.
