Confirm DualSense
Check the controller model on your order. Do not assume DualSense Edge or another PlayStation controller uses the same skin.
Power off and clean
Turn off the controller and disconnect cables. Follow Sony's cleaning advice, avoid moisture in controls and let surfaces dry.
Set up to fit
Use clean, dry hands and good lighting. Keep unused sections on the backing and your supplied instructions nearby.
Fitting your DualSense skin
Use the tutorial for the exact piece positions and application order.

Check the control openings
Compare each piece with the intended buttons and edges before pressing. Do not pull narrow vinyl sections into place.

Smooth progressively
Follow the backing-removal method shown. Work gradually and avoid repeated contact with the adhesive.

Finish the grips carefully
Use gentle hairdryer warmth only where instructed on curved areas. Do not use a heat gun or make the controller hot.

Check the finished fit
Keep buttons, sticks, triggers, microphones, speakers, ports and charging contacts clear. Nothing should restrict touchpad or control movement.
Installation questions
What if a piece interferes with a control?
Stop and check the model, piece and orientation. Do not trim the skin on the controller or force the control. Send us a photo.
