Samsung Galaxy S9 skin installation video

Follow our Galaxy S9 fitting video before peeling your skin. Check the model on your order and use the camera opening and outer margins together when lining up the back.

Clear skin? Use the clear-skin wet-fitting guide, not these dry-vinyl reminders.

Can't see your model listed? Use a similar model with the same skin type — the basic fitting method is the same. Cut-outs and alignment may differ, so always use a skin made for your exact device. Clear skins need the separate wet-fitting guide.

Before you start

Check Galaxy S9

Confirm S9 rather than S9 Plus on your order. Identify the pieces in your selected coverage.

Clean and dry

Switch off and unplug the phone. Follow the manufacturer's surface-care advice and allow fitting surfaces to dry fully.

Prepare to fit

Use clean hands, good lighting and the supplied instructions. Leave unused pieces on the backing.

Fitting your Galaxy S9 skin

Use the video for exact placement and order. Fit only the sections you ordered.

  1. Check all reference points

Compare the camera and other cut-outs with the outside edges before pressing firmly.

  2. Smooth progressively

Follow the backing-removal method shown and work gradually without touching the adhesive.

  3. Finish curves carefully

Use gentle hairdryer warmth only where instructed. Do not stretch the skin or make the phone hot.

  4. Inspect before use

Keep controls, sensors and ports clear. Avoid forcing a case over an edge that catches.
