Can't see your model listed? A similar device with the same skin type can demonstrate the basic method. Panel shapes and alignment points may differ, so always use a skin made for your exact device.

Before you start

Check Shadow Ghost

Match the device and selected coverage to your order. Keep unused panels on the backing.

Power down and clean

Shut down, unplug and let the device cool. Follow the manufacturer's surface-care advice and allow fitting surfaces to dry. Do not wet-fit the device.

Make room to work

Use a clean, stable surface and good lighting. Watch the video first with your supplied instructions nearby.

Fitting your Shadow Ghost skin

Use the video for exact positioning and the order of each supplied panel.

  1. Identify the panels

Compare each shape and opening with its intended surface. Do not bridge separate panels or gaps.

  2. Check the perimeter

Check opposite edges before pressing firmly. Do not stretch one corner to compensate for another.

  3. Apply progressively

Follow the backing-removal method shown and smooth down gradually. Avoid touching the adhesive or pulling repeatedly at one area.

  4. Inspect the openings

Keep vents, controls, indicators and connections clear. Check the edges before reconnecting cables or moving the device.

Installation questions

What if I cannot identify a panel?

Leave it on the backing and compare it with the video. Send us a photo of the full sheet and your device if you are unsure.

Should I trim a piece to fit?

No. Check the model, surface and orientation first. Do not cut the skin while it is on the device or stretch it into position.

What about bubbles or lifting?

Do not use a pin or excessive pressure. Read our fitting troubleshooting guide.
