Before you start

Check the generation

Match your exact Echo model and coverage to your order. Identify the intended panels and leave unused pieces on the backing.

Unplug and clean

Disconnect the speaker and follow Amazon's cleaning advice. Keep moisture away from acoustic openings and let surfaces dry fully.

Set yourself up

Use clean, dry hands and a stable workspace. Watch the video first with your fitting instructions nearby.

Fitting your Echo skin

Use the video for the exact starting position and order.

  1. Check the alignment

Compare the intended edges and connector cut-outs before pressing. Do not stretch vinyl to make the seam reach.

  2. Work around gradually

Follow the backing-removal method shown and smooth progressively across the intended surface.

  3. Finish the contours

Use gentle warmth only where specifically instructed. Do not use a heat gun or overheat the speaker.

  4. Check the openings

Keep microphones, speaker grilles, indicators, controls and connectors unobstructed.

Installation questions

Should vinyl cover an acoustic opening?

No. Fit only the intended exterior panels and leave speaker and microphone openings clear.

What if the wrap does not meet correctly?

Check the generation and starting alignment. Do not stretch or trim the skin on the speaker. Read our troubleshooting guide or contact us.
