Can't see your model listed? A similar watch with the same skin type can demonstrate the basic technique. Case sizes, controls and cut-outs differ: always use a skin made for your exact model and follow its fitting instructions.

Before you start

Check series and size

Match both details to your order. Identify each piece while it is still on the backing; do not assume similar-sized watches share a skin.

Clean and dry

Remove the watch from your wrist, power it off and disconnect charging. Follow Apple's cleaning advice and let the fitting surfaces dry.

Work with care

Use clean, dry hands and good lighting. Follow the supplied method and avoid handling the adhesive on these narrow sections.

Fitting your Apple Watch skin

  1. Compare the cut-outs

Check crown, button and perimeter alignment before firm pressure. Do not stretch a small piece to make it reach.

  2. Apply progressively

Use the backing-removal method shown and fit only the intended exterior surfaces. Keep unused pieces on the backing.

  3. Finish the curves gently

Follow the video and supplied instructions for shaped edges. Do not use a heat gun or overheat the watch.

  4. Check every clearance

Leave the display, sensors, speakers, microphones, charging surface and controls clear. Check that the crown and band attachments move normally.

Installation questions

What if a small edge will not stay down?

Stop before repeatedly pulling it. Check model and alignment, then send a close-up so we can advise without damaging the piece.

Can I cover the back sensors?

No. Apply only to the intended surfaces and keep sensors and the charging area unobstructed.
