Can't see your model listed? Use a similar model with the same skin type for the basic fitting method. Cut-outs and alignment points may differ: always use a skin made for your exact device. Clear skins need the separate wet-fitting guide.
A little preparation goes a long way
Before you start
Check Honor 9
Confirm the exact model, finish and coverage on your order. Keep pieces you are not fitting on the backing.
Clean and dry
Switch off and unplug your phone. Follow the manufacturer's surface-care advice and let the fitting area dry fully.
Watch before peeling
Use a clean, well-lit workspace and dry hands. Have the supplied fitting instructions within reach.
Fitting your Honor 9 skin
Follow the video for the exact positioning and application order of the pieces you received.
-
Check the starting position
Compare the camera cut-outs and outer edges together before pressing firmly. Do not stretch the vinyl to reach an opening.
-
Smooth down gradually
Use the backing-removal method shown and work progressively, keeping fingers away from the adhesive.
-
Take care around curves
Use gentle hairdryer warmth only where instructed. Do not use a heat gun or make the phone hot.
-
Inspect the finished fit
Keep cameras, controls and ports unobstructed. Make sure a case does not catch an edge.

What if the openings do not line up?
Stop and check the model, piece and orientation. Do not cut the skin on the phone or pull it into place; send us a photo.
What about bubbles or lifting?
Do not use a pin or excessive force. See our fitting troubleshooting guide.
