Protection for the finish.
Not for every impact.
Vinyl helps limit light cosmetic wear on the surfaces it covers. It does not cushion a drop like a protective case, repair damage or make the phone waterproof.
Check case hinges, tight edges and adhesive strips before combining a case with a skin. Our cases-versus-skins guide explains the difference.
Clear film is a separate fitting process.
Use the wet-installation guide for Clear Matt or Clear Gloss, only on a suitable intact device. Keep fluid away from openings and moving areas, and do not soak the phone. Haze or patchiness can take a few days to clear as it dries.
