Can't see your model listed? Use a similar model with the same skin type to understand the basic fitting method. Panel shapes and alignment points may differ: always use the skin made for your exact MacBook. Do not wet-fit laptop skins.

Before you start

Check the generation

Confirm your MacBook Air model and screen size. Identify the supplied panels without removing their backing.

Clean and dry

Shut down and unplug the laptop. Follow Apple's cleaning guidance, keep moisture away from openings and let surfaces dry.

Prepare your workspace

Use a clean, stable surface and good lighting. Keep your supplied instructions nearby and unused panels on the backing.

Fitting your MacBook Air skin

Use the video and supplied instructions for exact positioning and application order.

  1. Compare the edges

Check the full perimeter before pressing firmly. Where a logo cut-out is included, align it together with the outer edges.

  2. Smooth gradually

Follow the backing-removal method shown. Work progressively across the panel without stretching the vinyl.

  3. Check each extra panel

Fit only to the intended surface, keeping feet, hinges, vents, ports, speakers and keyboard openings clear.

  4. Inspect before use

Check all edges and make sure moving parts remain free. Do not trim vinyl while it is attached to the laptop.
