ASUS ZenFone 4 Max skin installation video

Follow our ZenFone 4 Max video and keep the reminders below handy. Check the Max model on your order before removing any pieces from the backing.

Clear skin? Use the clear-skin wet-fitting guide, not these dry-vinyl reminders.

Can't see your model listed? Use a similar model with the same skin type — the basic fitting method is the same. Cut-outs and alignment may differ, so always use a skin made for your exact device. Clear skins need the separate wet-fitting guide.

Before you start

Check the Max model

Match the full model name to your order. Identify the supplied pieces and leave unused ones on the backing.

Clean and dry

Switch off and unplug the phone. Follow the manufacturer's surface-care advice and let fitting surfaces dry.

Prepare your workspace

Use clean, dry hands, good lighting and your supplied fitting instructions.

Fitting your ZenFone 4 Max skin

Follow the video for the exact positioning and order of the coverage you selected.

  1. Check all reference points

Compare the camera cut-outs and outer margins before pressing firmly. Do not pull a piece to make it reach.

  2. Smooth progressively

Follow the backing-removal method shown and work gradually without touching the adhesive.

  3. Finish the edges

Use gentle hairdryer warmth only where instructed. Avoid a heat gun and excessive heat.

  4. Inspect before use

Keep controls, sensors and openings clear. Check that a case does not catch the fitted edges.
