A fresh colour or a different texture.
Textured Matt offers a low-shine colour change. Wood, Carbon Fibre, Brushed Metal and Black Leather give you different surface effects, while Abstract and other printed collections make the back the main feature.

Protection for the finish.
Not a protective shell.
Vinyl helps limit cosmetic wear on covered surfaces. It cannot repair physical damage, make the device waterproof or provide the drop cushioning of a suitable case.
Foldable cases can have hinges and adhesive strips that interact with a skin. Check the fit rather than forcing a case into place. Our cases-versus-skins guide explains the different jobs they do.
Clear film follows different instructions.
Clear Matt and Clear Gloss use the dedicated wet-fitting method on suitable intact devices. Keep liquid away from openings and moving areas, and never soak the phone. Haze or patchiness may remain for a few days as the film dries.
