Can't see your model listed? Use a similar model with the same skin type for the basic fitting method. Panel shapes and cut-outs may differ, so always use a skin made for your exact console. Clear skins need separate instructions.

Before you start

Check the version

Match your exact PS4 version to your order. PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro have separate guides and model-specific skins.

Power down

Switch off, unplug and let the console cool. Follow Sony's cleaning advice and keep moisture away from openings.

Prepare your space

Use a clean, stable surface and clean, dry hands. Watch the video with your supplied instructions nearby.

Fitting your PS4 skin

Use the video for the exact positioning and order of application.

  1. Match the panels

    Check the intended edges and openings before pressing. Do not stretch a panel to reach a different edge.

  2. Apply progressively

    Follow the backing-removal method shown and smooth gradually without repeatedly pulling the adhesive.

  3. Finish shaped areas

    Use gentle hairdryer warmth only where instructed. Do not use a heat gun or overheat the console.

  4. Check every opening

    Keep vents, buttons, ports and the disc opening clear. Inspect the edges before reconnecting the console.
