Can't see your model listed? Use a similar model with the same skin type for the basic fitting method. Panel shapes and cut-outs may differ, so always use the correct model-specific skin. Do not wet-fit console skins.

Before you start

Check the exact Xbox

Confirm Series X, its version and your selected panels. Xbox One X and Series S skins are not substitutes.

Power off and prepare

Fully shut down, unplug and let the console cool. Follow Microsoft's cleaning advice and allow surfaces to dry.

Plan the panels

Use a clean, stable workspace and good lighting. Leave unused pieces on the backing until you reach them in the tutorial.

Fitting your Xbox Series X skin

Use the video for exact positioning and application order.

  1. Compare the perimeter

Check all outer edges and functional cut-outs before firm pressure. Do not stretch a panel to correct alignment.

  2. Smooth progressively

Follow the backing-removal method shown. Work across each surface gradually without trapping folds.

  3. Finish the edges

Keep corners and seams neat. Use gentle hairdryer warmth only where instructed, never a heat gun.

  4. Check airflow and access

Keep vents, ports, buttons, the disc slot where present and base contact areas clear. Do not place vinyl across an air opening.
