Custom
Choose Body, Trackpad or both, then mix compatible finishes. Select Body alone when you prefer the original trackpad surface.
A trackpad skin adds the selected material's texture under your fingers. Check normal movement, clicks and gestures after fitting. Keep keys, contacts and moving joints clear, and never force the keyboard closed.
Plain colour, tactile texture or artwork.
Textured Matt keeps the colour low-shine. Carbon Fibre and Brushed Metal add technical effects, while Wood and Leather provide other looks in vinyl. Onyx, Abstract and Doodles give printed alternatives where listed.
Pattern placement can vary. Material names describe decorative effects rather than replacement natural panels. Read the keyboard skin guide for coverage and care advice.
Important: soft-touch surfaces need extra care.
The exterior can mark or lift when adhesive vinyl is removed. Inspect the existing covering before fitting and do not apply a skin over peeling or unstable material.
Remove slowly and carefully, never with a sharp pull. Use gentle warmth only where the removal instructions call for it, and stop if the underlying covering moves. Read the removal guide; risk-free removal is not guaranteed on worn or delicate finishes.
Fit with the iPad detached.
Follow your supplied instructions and installation help. Coloured and textured keyboard skins are dry fitted.

Use appropriate care instructions for the material and let it dry.

Check each piece against its reference edges before firm pressure.
Smooth
Work gradually without stretching, stacking layers or bridging joints.

Test normal attachment, opening, closing, typing and trackpad operation.
Do not use a wet phone-film method. A skin helps with light surface wear, not impacts or liquid protection. Compare cases and skins for their different jobs.

Is a 12.9-inch keyboard skin interchangeable?
Choose the exact keyboard listing. A similar tablet size does not establish the same accessory template.
Can I leave the trackpad unskinned?
Yes. Select Body rather than Trackpad or Body + Trackpad.
Does Body include every key?
No. It refers to the body sections shown in the preview, not individual keycap stickers.
Can the original surface be damaged during removal?
Soft-touch material can mark or lift. Read the warning, remove slowly and stop if the covering begins to move.
