A Galaxy Fold or Flip is already a little different. A carefully chosen skin makes it yours. Here is how to choose the right wrap, understand the coverage and get the fitting right.
The appeal is simple: keep the shape of the phone you chose, but replace the factory finish with something that suits you. Go quiet with Textured Matt, add a wood-style finish or choose a printed design that is impossible to mistake for everyone else's.

First, identify your exact Fold or Flip
Match the complete model name, including its generation and any suffix. A skin sold for a Z Fold 7 should not be treated as a substitute for a Z Fold 8. The Fold and Flip ranges also have separate products.
Use the model information in Settings rather than the editable device nickname. Our Samsung model-identification guide shows what to check. Send us the model number if you are unsure; there is no need to share your IMEI or serial number.

What does the skin actually cover?
Foldable phones have several separate surfaces, and the available pieces differ by model. Inspect the product customiser and coverage options rather than assuming every visible surface is included.
Exterior panels provide the main colour or design. Side and camera-area pieces are included or selectable only where the individual product offers them. Outer-screen options are separate from the decorative body skin, so check exactly what your selection contains.
Never stretch a piece across a moving joint or adapt a spare piece to cover the hinge. Each supplied piece should sit where the model-specific fitting guide shows it.
The best-looking wrap starts with the right template, not the closest-looking phone.
Choose a finish for how you use your phone
Textured Matt is a good starting point for a low-shine colour change. Carbon Fibre and Brushed Metal create a more technical look; Wood, Leather and stone-inspired finishes take it in a different direction.
For something bolder, explore printed collections such as Onyx, Doodles and Abstract. Check the customiser for the finishes available on your particular phone.
Grip is not simply a matter of choosing the roughest-looking texture. Our picks for the grippiest feel are Black Leather and Clear Gloss, where offered. The feel still depends on your hands and how you hold the phone.
One finish or a custom combination?
Use Full Colour for a coordinated finish across the supplied sections. Where the Custom option offers separate sections, mix their colours and textures in the live preview. The actual product options determine what can be selected independently.
Clear skins: keep the colour, change the surface
Clear Matt gives a lower-shine transparent finish; Clear Gloss keeps a shinier appearance. Choose an available clear option when you like the underlying phone colour and do not want an opaque design over it.

Skin versus case on a folding phone
Choose a skin for appearance, texture and light surface protection with very little added thickness. Choose a suitable protective case when cushioning against drops and impacts matters most. Thin vinyl does not provide meaningful drop protection.
Using both may be possible, but fit is case-specific. Tight edges, hinge mechanisms and adhesive mounting strips can interfere with the skin. Do not force a case into place or assume an adhesive-backed case will bond properly to every finish.

Fitting a coloured or textured skin
Set aside time, use a clean work surface and watch the Samsung fitting guide before peeling off the backing.
- Prepare. Clean the supported exterior surfaces as directed and let them dry. Do not apply exterior-surface cleaning instructions to the inner display.
- Identify and align. Match each piece to its panel using the intended edges and cut-outs. Position lightly before pressing firmly.
- Smooth gradually. Work across the piece without stretching it. Stop if the fit looks wrong rather than trimming the skin on the phone.
- Finish the edges. Use gentle hairdryer warmth only where the guide calls for it, then press the edges into place. Avoid overheating the device.
Some templates leave small intentional margins. An even margin is different from a piece that is visibly misaligned or the wrong shape; send us a photo if something looks off.
Living with the skin — and changing it later
Wipe the surface with a soft cloth, avoid abrasive cleaners and resist picking at the edges. Pocket friction, case removal and installation quality affect wear, so there is no single lifespan for every phone.
When you fancy a change, follow our skin removal guide. Take extra care with damaged, repaired or peeling surfaces; a new skin is not a repair for cracked glass or a faulty hinge.
Fold and Flip skin questions
Are skins interchangeable between generations?
Order the product listed for your exact model. A similar-looking Fold or Flip is not a fit confirmation.
Does a body skin include screen protection?
Only when the product explicitly includes or offers it and your selection contains it. An exterior decorative skin is not protection for the inner folding display.
Can I mix every piece's colour?
You can customise the sections offered independently in that product's Custom option. Available pieces differ between models.
Will a skin hide scratches?
An opaque skin can disguise light cosmetic marks on covered areas. Deep dents, raised damage and cracks may remain visible and should not be treated as repaired.
